Betaflex E3

Introducing... The Betaflex E3 Flexo Sleeve, Plate, and Film Analyzer.  The fast, accurate, and portable hand held device measures all types of photopolymer and elastomeric sleeves and plates, including steel-backed plates and direct-engraved cylinders. Laser ablation masks, plates, and halftone films are evaluated for dot area, ruling, and dot quality more accurately than possible with a densitometer. You can use it as a standalone to measure plates, prints, and films of any size or with the Sleeve Adaptor to measure sleeves in the round. Verify plate quality before mounting or releasing them to the press room. Save time, material and money by catching errors early in the process.

You can catch imaging errors early in the workflow.  You can also check film, mask, and plate calibration quickly and easily, verify dot size, screen ruling, and barcode geometry, and document outgoing jobs to improve communications. You can check customer's print quality to improve fingerprint results. Never lose press time because of bad incoming plates. Inspect plates and sleeves on the press for wear and defects.
