All wet chemical measurement processes can only achieve the maximum accuracy of the instruments in use when standard solutions are used. Conductivity testing requires the use of a standarizing solution near the target value of the sample under test. This product is widely used and has a value of 1413 microsiemens/cm. Once the instrument is adjusted to read the published value of the standardizing solution, the test solution is then measured.
